"Meta Description" is the block of text that appears below your site on search results.
The search engine will cut it off after so many characters, so it's best to keep it short, focus on the most important information, and include key search terms you want people to use to find you.

Neighborhood Watch

Make yourself the most remembered and appreciated person in your favorite neighborhood. Pick any neighborhood anywhere in the valley and become the liaison to start a Neighborhood Watch group.

Make yourself the most remembered and appreciated person in your favorite neighborhood. Pick any neighborhood anywhere in the valley and become the liaison to start a Neighborhood Watch group. The neighbors will love you. You'll make a ton of business and it costs you nothing.

Do It Now!

  1. Neighborhood watch programs work - they have proven to reduce crime.
  2. Police Departments and local media will love you for helping establish a new group.
  3. You will get all the credit and all the sales leads. By doing good for your neighborhood you will meet and get to know your neighbors while building your circle of influence.
  4. Neighborhood Watches are a pro-active approach to increasing home values.
  5. A safe neighborhood, it's a great place to live which makes home prices rise. London Properties will provide Free neighborhood watch signs. Every time your neighbors see a Neighborhood Watch sign they will think of you.
  6. As leader of the neighborhood watch, you have an opportunity to meet and stay in contact with every neighbor.

How to get started:

  1. Go to LondonProperties.com, click on "Market Updates & Agent Stuff" button, then select "Agent Stuff" to find the contact for your community (usually a Community Service Officer or CSO). If you cannot find a contact call Rebecca Reyes at phone 559.437.4332 or ext. 4332 for help.
  2. Pick a neighborhood, then call the CSO contact at the police department and let them know that you want to start a Neighborhood Watch Program and find out if anyone in your area has also expressed interest. The CSO will require some paperwork such as a map of the area so they can determine how many signs to provide.
  3. Contact the neighbors and find someone willing to open their home for a neighborhood meeting (as a back up, you can use the nearest London Properties Office).
  4. Pick a meeting date, time and location. In most cases, the CSO or uniformed officers will also attend your first meeting to provide an overview of the program.
  5. Go to Reliancemktg.com to order and mail your Let's Stop Crime announcement postcards. London Properties will pay for the printing, design and sorting of the postcards. The associate is only responsible for bulk postage costs. Send out notice of your meeting and follow up with a phone call and invitation to each neighbor.
  6. Go to LondonProperties.com Let's Stop Crime page and print out the forms you want for your meeting. The website has lots of examples, sign up forms and recommendations. Your CSO can help you determine what topics to cover first. You may want to bring little treats, coffee, etc.
  7. After your initial meeting, work with your CSO to determine the number of signs needed for your neighborhood. London Properties will cover the cost of the first two signs. Note: CSOs highly recommend that the neighbors pitch in for the cost of the signs so that they feel vested in the program.
  8. Schedule follow-up meetings to discuss the neighborhood's results in progress. How about a semi-annual newsletter to advise on safety tips, invite police officers and alarm companies to attend other meetings to discuss home security tips, etc.
  9. Send out little postcards as reminders of what folks can be doing to secure their homes. Print and distribute a neighborhood roster with mailing addresses and emergency contact numbers for each neighbor. (Don't forget to list yourself as the sponsor / liaison)
  10. You may even wish to coordinate neighborhood citizen patrols. (Talk with your local police department and ask them for suggestions.)
  11. As this program develops, London Properties will hold liaison / team leader meetings to get all of our liaison neighborhood leaders together and brain storm on how we can continue to help our individual neighborhoods and promote you.
  12. Do not look at this as a onetime event, but rather an opportunity for you to become a lifelong, valuable part of your favorite community, while getting to know all the neighbors and have them look up to you for guidance and direction on improving their home values and the neighborhood in which they live.
  13. To assist you, London Properties will continue to provide you FREE marketing to print postcards, flyers, newsletters, neighbor phone directories or whatever else we can do to support and promote you.

(Note: Neighborhood Watch and Community Watch Programs vary city to city. The local police and Eric McCormick will be available to give you directions and what to do.)
